Intransigense Technologies ("we", "us", or "our") operates the FaceOff mobile application and other products and services (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Information We Collect
When you use our Services, we may collect the following types of information:
- Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and password (stored securely using bcrypt hashing).
- Collection Data: Information about cards you add to your collection, wishlist, and trade history.
- Camera and Photos: When you use the card scanning feature, we access your camera to photograph cards for identification. Images are processed for OCR and are not stored permanently on our servers.
- Device Information: We may collect device identifiers for push notification delivery.
- Usage Data: We collect general usage data to improve our Services.
How We Use Your Information

Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely in encrypted databases. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard bcrypt encryption. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information.
Third-Party Services
Our Services may use third-party APIs to provide card pricing data (such as Scryfall, PokemonTCG.io, and eBay). These services have their own privacy policies. We also use Firebase for crash reporting and push notifications.
Data Retention and Deletion
You can delete your account at any time through the app's Settings. When you delete your account, all associated data (collection items, wishlist, scan history) is permanently removed from our servers.
Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
